thefluffingtonpost: FridgeCat Will Get You What You Need An entrepreneurial kitten in Palo Alto, CA has launched a new service called FridgeCat (TM) that aims to help its busy customers keep track of groceries.  According to the press release, subscribers to the service will be assigned a personal FridgeCat Concierge, who will monitor the contents of that customer’s refrigerator 24/7 and reorder items as they run out. Early beta testers tell The Fluffington Post that the service has been a huge time saver, though some report running out of canned tuna more often than they can explain. thefluffingtonpost: Promising New CatMobile Gets 80 Miles Per Gallon Ford Motor Company unveiled what it’s calling “a revolution in catsportation.” The 2013 Ford CatMobile promises to achieve 80 MPG (highway) — far and away, the best gas mileage seen in a two-door sedan. The secret sauce is a gas/cat hybrid engine. While cruising normally, the car is powered by the cat that drives it. During uphill climbs, the fuel intake kicks in, giving the vehicle the extra power it needs. The car is merely a prototype, and Ford admits there are still some kinks to work out (notably, the cardboard chassis does not meet DoT safety guidelines). However, a company spokesperson tells The Fluffington Post that, barring any manufacturing setbacks, it will hit the market in late 2012.
